The IT department of the County Administrative Boards is national and works for all 21 County Administrative Boards in Sweden.

Job Description

Do you want to help shape tomorrow's software development at the County Administrative Board with socially important assignments? With us, the role of software developer is in an exciting transformation.

As AI tools increasingly assist traditional software development, the need for developers who can translate business needs into clear solution descriptions grows – the new interface between humans and machines.

We are looking for someone who enjoys dialogue with customers, works closely with the business, and wants to be part of the journey where collaboration and business understanding become as important as technical competence.

In this role, you will work agile and close to the business. You will:

• Develop our systems and components using modern technologies and tools.
• Collaborate with the business to understand and translate their needs into effective solutions.
• Work with mapping solutions and geographic information in a web environment.
• Drive quality throughout the delivery in the DevOps flow, from development to operations.
• Work in complex IT environments with high demands on availability, security, and usability.

Qualifications

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university or post-secondary education of at least 2 years in the IT field.
• Experience in software development in complex projects.
• Documented experience in DevOps environments and agile working methods (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good knowledge of .NET (Framework & Core) and C#, as well as basic knowledge of Python and Java.
• Experience with mapping solutions such as OpenLayers and Esri.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture, microservices, modular monolith, and MVVM.
• Experience in CSS/SCSS, component libraries, design systems, and WCAG.
• Knowledge of Containers.
• Professional English for technical communication.

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have experience as a developer from the County Administrative Boards.

The salary level for this position is approximately 35,000 - 40,000 SEK.
